The Etex Group is a multinational supplier of plasterboard, metal, and associated products, with over 14,500 teammates across 43 countries and 113 production sites operating since 1905. Etex Australia manufactures Siniat products in three plasterboard manufacturing facilities: Matraville (NSW),where this role is based, Altona (VIC), Bundaberg (QLD), and a metal roll forming production facility in Beenleigh (QLD) as well as many smaller, crucial facilities.

We are now offering an exciting Account Manager opportunity to strengthen the Etex team! This full-time opportunity is based in NSW. 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for achieving company, functional and departmental objectives. You will do this by strategising methods for growing the market segment and customer base in the region (Sydney Metro, South Coast, Wagga Wagga and Canberra).

Day to day duties may include:

  • Account management
  • Identifying business development opportunities
  • Developing new and maintaining existing relationships with stakeholders such as distributors, builders and contractors
  • Driving brand awareness through promotion of Etex branded products

WHO IS ETEX LOOKING FOR?

To be successful in this position you will have proven experience in sales/marketing, preferably in the building and construction industry. You will use your experience in developing sales through a distributor network to ensure Etex branded products are promoted effectively.

It is crucial that the successful candidate has outstanding interpersonal communication skills, allowing you to effectively communicate and form relationships with relevant stakeholders such as architects, designers, internal lining contractors and builders. 

Most importantly, you will be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and presentation skills. You will also have a "team-first" attitude and a clear focus on customer service.
