We now have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing facility in Matraville, NSW.

Your next opportunity

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of facility equipment and machinery used in the production of plasterboard.

Core duties:

  • Undertake general repairs and provide electrical assistance;
  • Complete a range of maintenance and routine inspection tasks;
  • Maintain up-to-date equipment knowledge to provide timely solutions to problems (fault finding etc.);

Whom are we looking for?

To thrive in this role, you must be a trade-qualified electrician with demonstrable post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment as part of a continuous shift roster.

Although not essential, previous experience with Programmable Logic Controllers Allen Bradley 5000 (PLCs) and Danfoss VSDs, and a forklift licence will be highly advantageous.

As an experienced electrician, you will understand the importance of maintaining a high quality of work and will be proactive in both developing effective relationships with production team members and undertaking repairs/identifying faults to facility machinery and equipment.

Your welcome flexibility and variety in your work, completing a range of other duties not strictly limited to electrical work in order to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the facility.
